Dead track predicted for Melbourne Cup 2011

There is predicted rain to hit Melbourne from tomorrow afternoon with the rain easing to showers later on Saturday through to Tuesday (Melbourne Cup day). Thus it is predicted the track will be a Dead4 or Dead5 come race time.

Last years Melbourne Cup was run on a Slow6 but predictions indicate the race that stops the nation will have a better track condition with a Dead5 being the worst case scenario.
